Boat/Camp is an annual event, in cooperation with Person-to-Person and the Noroton Yacht Club.  Over 100 camper-kids and 20 boats make this event a success.  It is often the first time that these kids have:   been on a boat, seen a light-house, stepped on an island, met a kindly pirate (who dispenses growls, and candy), and have had a chance to meet some very caring adults who look after them for the day.  On the Boat Camp page you will see pictures of this recent event - and a forecast of nest summer's delightful day.  Click here to see the fun: Boat/Camp

Flare/Up! is an event held every three years - because marine flares expire in that time period - that will come around again in 2008.  Flare/Up, which is held in conjunction with Darien's Advisory Commission on Coastal Waters (the Harbor Commission) gives Squadon Members, and the Boating Community, a chance to fire marine flares legally, and safely.  Click here to see more details of this interesting event:  Flare/Up!
