BOAT/CAMP/2010 was held on Friday July 30, 2010.    Click  HERE   for a recap of that wonderful day:  112 camper-kids + 25 counselors + 71 volunteers + 25 boats =  Boat/Camp/2010.

The next Boating Course will be presented by the Squadron in January 2011 - please send a note to   dsps@optonline.net   to place yourself on a notification list so that you will receive information as to the date, time and place of this class.

Note that the Boating Course presented by this Squdron is the "complete course" - qualifying graduates for the CT Coastal Boating Endorsement for their CT Safe Boating Certificate.   The title of this course is:  "Coastal Boating."   It includes the essential information (covered by short courses) plus vital invormation needed for coastal boating in this part of Long Island Sound:   "Radio, Ropes & Charts" - and much more that is not covered in the minimum-one-day courses.
